Juno is an asteroid within the asteroid belt of the Solar System.
Fiction[]
The Headmasters cartoon[]
When Scorponok stopped at Pallas for repairs, the Autobots soon came and the two forces battled on the asteroid. Intent at striking at the Autobot's field leader, Sixshot approached Chromedome and dared him to a duel on Juno. The Headmaster accepted. Scorponok, seeking to eliminate Sixshot, had the Duocons plant bombs on Juno.
As the time of the duel approached, Chromedome left Ceres. On his trail was Daniel Witwicky, who cared for both Sixshot and Chromedome. Before the duel could progress further, Daniel got between the two and warned Sixshot that he would have to get through the human to get to Chromedome. The Decepticon relented, but Scorponok's bombs went off. Daniel and Chromedome escaped the exploding asteroid and Juno was destroyed, seemingly with Sixshot on it.
Sailor Moon manga and Crystal[]
Juno was the third asteroid to be discovered in the Solar System's asteroid belt. It is named for the Roman goddess Juno, who was the wife of Jupiter and the queen of the gods.
In the Sailor Moon manga, Juno was protected by Sailor Juno, a member of the Sailor Quartet and one of Chibiusa's protectors.
